Mr. Martin Eson-Benjamin was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) in November, 2006, continuing a distinguished career of more than thirty-four years in both the public and private sectors.Prior to his appointment, Mr. Eson-Benjamin was the Chief Executive Officer of Empretec Ghana Foundation, a business services development company.Martin held several senior management positions in various multinational companies including Kumasi Brewery Limited and Ghana Breweries both subsidiaries of Heineken International and Unilever Ghana Limited. He has both local and international work experience, having worked in managerial capacities in Sierra Leone and Nigeria.Martin has served on several Boards, including CFAO, Enterprise Insurance Company, Kama Group of Companies and Ningo Salt Company Limited. He has also served as Chairman of Multi-Media Broadcasting Company Limited and Ghana Agro Foods Company Limited (GAFCO) and was a Member of the Presidential Commission on Pensions as well as the Ghana Investment Advisory Council, set up by the H.E. President J. A. Kufuor. He was educated at Opoku Ware Secondary School and the School of Administration, University of Ghana. Martin is married with four children.>> Next
