Mr. Michael Asomani-Adem is the Commercialization of Agriculture Projects Manager of MiDA. As a result of over eighteen years field experience and training, Michael has a good understanding of Agronomy, Animal Husbandry, Public Policy Making and Analysis, Project Planning and Management, Strategic and Farm Management and Monitoring and Evaluation of projects.He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Animal Science from the University of Ghana, a Master’s degree in Agriculture Agronomy from the University of New England, Australia and a Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Agricultural Administration from GIMPA, Ghana.Michael has a rich Agricultural background having begun his career as an Assistant Agricultural Officer and rising to the rank of Deputy Director of Agriculture (Animal Husbandry) in the Animal Production Directorate of Ministry of Food and Agriculture. He served as a District Director of Agriculture in the Akuapem South District before taking up MiDA’s appointment.His objective is to be innovative, hardworking and work conscientiously and with dedication in order to become a key player in good agricultural policy formulation and implementation and actively contribute to wealth creation for the deprived people of Ghana whose main livelihood is in agriculture>>Next
