To augment the supply of and access to credit provided by financial institutions operating in the Intervention Zones, providing seasonal credit to FBOs through commercial and rural banks, as well as through non-traditional channels such as input suppliers and medium-term credit through banks to finance capital goods such as irrigation and post-harvest processing and storage facilities.
