Mr.SAMUEL KWADWO KUMA-BOTCHWAY
Mr. Samuel Kwadwo Kuma-Botchway was appointed Community Services Project Manager for the Millennium Development Authority in February, 2007. He has over fourteen years of professional experience and holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a Member of Ghana Institution of Engineers.
Mr. Kuma-Botchway has worked with both the urban and rural communities in identifying and preparing project dossiers, supervising the construction of projects, investigations, design construction and consultancy. Through out his career, he has demonstrated skills in organizing work effectively, formulating coherent recommendations and writing major final project reports.
As the Supervising Consultant for GRATIS and Centre for Participating Development Ltd (CEPAD) he directly supervised the execution of projects funded by the European Union and the Government of Ghana under the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th EU Micro Projects Programme.
He was one of the consultants for the USAID Academy for Educational Development (AED) responsible for the implementation of infrastructure component under Quality Improvement in Primary Schools.
Sam was also the Engineering Consultant to the DFID/Government of Ghana Sponsored Pilot Programme of the Educational Sector Support Programme School Upgrading (ESSP-SU) component implemented in six deprived districts in Northern Ghana and a Workshop Specialist in the New Road Prioritization Methodology being implemented by the Department of Feeder Roads and DFID.
Prior to his appointment, he was employed by Mott Macdonalds Ltd.- Cambridge Education, United Kingdom as the School Facilities Specialist to perform due diligence on the Millennium Challenge Project in Ghana on constructing educational facilities in 23 districts of Ghana>> Next
