The President H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has inaugurated a re-constituted Board of the Millennium Development Authority, MiDA, at the Jubilee House. The 14 member re-constituted Board is chaired by Professor Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu, a former Ag. Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Development) at the University of Ghana. Prof Ntiamoa-Baidu will also be the Principal Government Representative for the implementation of the second Compact.

She takes over from Professor Samuel Sefa-Dedeh who has been instrumental in the development of the second Millennium Challenge Compact also known as Ghana Power Compact.

The MiDA Board is composed of 11 voting members, including six ministers of state namely; Finance, Trade and Industry, Energy, Gender, Children and Social Protection, Attorney General and Minister for Justice and Minister for Business Development. Other voting members include the MiDA CEO, representatives of the Association of Ghana Industries, Private Enterprise Federation and the Private Voluntary Organisation in Development (GAPVOD).

The non-voting members are the Board Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), NEDCO Board Chairman and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Resident Country Director.
