Mr. J.B. Koranteng-Yorke
Mr. J.B. Koranteng-Yorke is MiDA’s Project Manager for Transportation and Agricultural Infrastructure.A qualified Civil Engineer with further specialization in Highway Engineering, Mr. J.B. Koranteng-Yorke has work experience in both the public and private sectors. His eighteen years of professional experience can be categorized into three. These are Road, Water Supply and Social and Agricultural Infrastructure Developments.Before taking appointment at MiDA, he was the Deputy Programme Coordinator for the current Road Sector Development Programme (RSDP) with responsibility of coordinating and preparing consolidated Programme Reports and was one of the advisors to the Chief Director of the Ministry of Transportation on Programme Disbursement Conditions.Mr. Koranteng-Yorke rose through the ranks from an Assistant Engineer to a Principal Engineer at the Ministry of Transportation. His expertise includes road infrastructure planning, programming and budgeting, strategic planning and development, project management and donor coordination. He also has considerable knowledge in procurement of Works, Goods and Services and the World Bank, African Development Bank and European Union Procurement Guidelines.He is also experienced in Project Management & Community Administration, having carried out training, feasibility studies, construction supervision and management of water supply and sanitation, agro-processing schemes for both rural and urban communities.Prior to joining the MiDA team, Mr. Koranteng-Yorke was part of the Engineering Team responsible for the Transport Infrastructure component of the MCA in Ghana. >> Next
